وشهدت التقسيمة مشاركة يوسف أوباما صانع ألعاب الزمالك بشكل طبيعي بعد التعافي من إصابته لتتأكد جاهزيته لمباراة الإسماعيلي المقبلة.

وكان يوسف أوباما غاب عن مباراة أمس أمام المصري، التي انتهت لصالح الزمالك بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدفين، وذلك في إطار الجولة الـ24 من عمر بطولة الدوري المصري الممتاز.

As revealed by Lee Bowyer in his pre-match press conference, Lyle Taylor is 100% ruled out of this weekend’s south London derby against Millwall.

Some Charlton fans on Twitter thought that the 42-year-old was lying when he said that the Montserrat international wouldn’t be ready for this Saturday’s clash, but Bowyer said: “If we could have had him on the bench and brought him on for 10 minutes, then I would, but he’s not fit.”

Unfortunate for the 29-year-old

Bowyer went on to say that the target for Taylor’s return was the 1-0 defeat to Preston last weekend, although that match came too soon for the former Wimbledon striker.

Taylor has had an injection, and the Addicks are hoping to have their five-goal striker back in training in the run-up to the game against Cardiff on the 23rd November, after the international break.

Time for Macauley Bonne to step up 

With Taylor now looking extremely unlikely not to make any kind of cameo at The Den, the onus is on Macauley Bonne to deliver the goods – or at least improve on his anonymous performance against Preston at The Valley last time out.

In that 1-0 loss, the man with five goals in seven Championship starts was ineffective, to say the least. Bonne had the least touches out of any player to start the game – apart from Daniel Johnson, who went off injured after 30 minutes – touching the ball just 28 times.

The 24-year-old also failed to have a single shot, let alone a shot on target, and also had three unsuccessful touches – the second-least of any player on the pitch.

Taylor is the side’s talisman and he may have inspired something special even in a short space of time against Millwall, but with the 29-year-old now definitely out, Bonne has no other option but to improve on last week’s abject showing.

Arsenal youngster Eddit Nketiah scored a hat-trick for England U21s as the Young Lions beat Austria 5-1 on Tuesday at Stadium MK.

Nketiah, who is currently on loan at Championship side Leeds United, helped England maintain their 100% record in their Euro 2021 qualifying campaign as the 20-year-old scored two from close range and headed home to complete his trio. It could have been more, too, as he had a penalty saved with five minutes remaining.

Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi also scored twice to complete the goalscoring tally for the evening.

Despite this, the youngster has only featured for 133 minutes for the Yorkshire based-outfit, scoring four goals in all competitions. Rumours have begun to circulate that Nketiah will be recalled with Bristol City interested in his services, per football.london.

Nevertheless, supporters were excited to see the young prospect among the goals once more. One fan said that Nketiah reminds him of a young Ian Wright and described him as a “real natural”.

Whilst Leeds United might have problems finding the back of the net, they do boast the best defence in the Championship, having only conceded seven goals so far this season. One player that they signed this summer has played an integral part in that according to one man.

Speaking on the Inside Elland Road Podcast, former Leeds United defender Ben Parker spoke about how quickly and how well Brighton and Hove Albion loanee Ben White has settled in to the side at Elland Road:

“I think he’s first class. For him to actually step up and be an upgrade on Pontus speaks volumes for him personally. How he’s settled into the place and the building. He’s different class, he’s been superb.

“He’s never caught out of position. Kiko must love playing with him – he can just roll him the ball and he can bypass somebody or make a simple pass. Whatever he does, he does the right thing at the right moment.”

Now comes the tricky part

Whilst Leeds’ finances might not be in the best of situations, which may have been the reason they went for a ‘buy now, pay later’ approach with the Helder Costa deal in the summer, there has to be some element of ‘spend money to make money’ with Leeds United’s approach to the January transfer window.

Given the amount of money that awaits them on the other side in the Premier League, the earlier they get him tied down, the less likely they are to be fleeced for him in the summer when Brighton know that they’ll be flush with money.

If White is proving such an important part of the way Leeds have set up this season, then it must be one of their highest priorities to secure him down for as long as they can – something that could prove difficult given his potential.

According to The Sun, Manchester United have been offered Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic and £10m for striker Romelu Lukaku by Juventus.

What’s the word?

Reports in recent weeks had claimed that Inter were in talks to sing the Belgium international this summer, but that they had an opening offer for the centre-forward turned down by the Red Devils.

Now, it appears Juventus have entered the race for the 26-year-old’s signature and The Sun have suggested that the Bianconeri could be willing to offer a huge package deal involving Dybala, Mandzukic and some money in order to sign him.

The report adds that the Italian side even consulted Cristiano Ronaldo over pursuing a move for Lukaku, and that they had been given the all-clear by the Portuguese superstar to do so.

Too good to be true

Lukaku has been a prolific goal-scorer in the Premier League in his time at Everton and United, but his valuation should surely have taken a hit after an underwhelming campaign last season saw him net just 15 times in 45 games across all competitions.

Instead, it appears Juventus seem to have completely forgotten about last year or wilfully ignored it, and that only bodes well for the Red Devils. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are seemingly keen on embracing a new style of play, whereby they have pace and movement up front and hard work off the ball; things Lukaku isn’t known for.

In Dybala, United would have a world-class talent to fill the number ten role, whilst Mandzukic’s reported inclusion raises even more eyebrows. The Croatian is a veteran forward who has spent multiple years at the highest level in the Champions League with both Bayern Munich and Juventus, and offers such an intriguing option to United.

The 33-year-old’s work-rate is second-to-none, and he would give the Red Devils a major physical presence in the air; something that they lost with Marouane Fellaini and would lose with Lukaku too. To then be getting £10m on top of that seems like United have won the lottery. If the reports are to be true, then United must not think twice about accepting it.
